Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival - Angkor Wat Sunset


Morning


Say hello to Siem Reap, our English-speaking guide at the airport will welcome you and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in.


The time for check-in is 14:00. If you want to early check-in, please contact your travel consultant. The rest of the time is your refresh before the sunset tour at the World Heritage Angkor Wat


Afternoon


Come to Angkor Wat late afternoon, we will admire the sculptural architecture in the model of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, home of the gods. Built in the early 12th century by Suryavarman II, this is considered the masterpiece of Khmer architecture because of its carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the heroic Kings history.


At the end of the first day, you will have a treasured chance to watch the sunset at this biggest religious temple in the world.


Back to your hotel and please recharge full energy for the next day

Day 2: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple Tour


Morning


Have a full breakfast at the hotel and today we will discover other main Angkor sites on a local tuk-tuk.


The first spot in our journey is Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Kmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII


  • Enter the city from the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces.
  • Continue to the center city, Bayon Temple where you can see the well-known 54 towers with mystic smiling Avalokiteshvara faces looking out toward four directions of the Great Khmer Empire. The next-door Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are intricate bas-relief spots you must see.
  • And walk through the grounds of the former Imperial Palace to some seldom visited small hidden temples.


Depending on the season and the crowds, we can get to Ta Prohm temple where Tomb Raider was filmed, and pose with the temple covered with forest trees and vines, or visit Preah Khan temple like a long-forgotten labyrinth, fewer tourists give you closer access to the temple complex even during peak seasons.


Grab lunch at Marum Restaurant in Siem Reap, you will try authentic local cuisine in in a delightful wooden house among a spacious garden.


Back to your hotel to relax


Afternoon


Get picked up from your hotel by private car, and set off to the surrounding countryside and rarely visited locations while practicing the basics of Khmer under the helpful guidance of your teacher/guide native Khmer people.


A local market is ideal for you to practice some Khmer words and greetings while eyeing the daily trade life there.


Head to Phnom Bok Mountain and prepare to conquer 635 steps to the top which promises thrilling views open in front of you when resting and joining a Khmer language lesson with our native Khmer teacher/guide


Then apply the lesson on exploring the ruined Buddhist pagoda at the mountain's peak before back down the foot to slake with fresh coconut and gain some more basic words and phrases.


Drive back along little villages and rice fields drawing to your eyes the daily life of Cambodian countryside picture. Our guide will tell you about the rice harvest story and the final stop is an evening street market and colorful fairground near the town where you can have fun and relax amidst the stream of locals.


After a long day, the rest is your leisure time for dinner and bask at the hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap Battambang


Morning


Fullfil breakfast and check out, then we drive to Battambang taking 3 hours, the second-largest city and the biggest rice producer in Cambodia.


Check-in at the hotel upon arrival and have lunch at a local restaurant


Afternoon


Departure to expose the first ruin, Ek Phnom temple in the 11th century you can find some remainder of Buddha statues and Naga patterns. Also, watch colonial-style houses along the Sangke River.


Way back to the town, you drop in traditional Cambodian houses and the artisan factory of rice flaky cake. In the late afternoon, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience to ride the Bamboo Train, a childhood dream of watching the sunset come true in Battambang.


Evening


Dine dinner at a local restaurant and back to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 6: Battambang - Cycling Tour and Bat Cave Discovery


Morning


Be prepared with energy with breakfast and ready before 8:00 because today has many energy-consuming activities.


A tuk-tuk will pick you up and take you to the bike office, please check and try out a bike fitted following a quick introduction about the guide and safety brief to ensure it operates well throughout the journey.


Cycling is a great way to stumble into the North Battambang local community. You will live in the real taste of authentic Cambodian village life, observe traditional cottage industries, drop by a local spiritual site, and taste tropical/seasonal fruits following the route: Rice Noodle - Bamboo Sticky Rice - Wat Samrong Knong (Buddhist pagoda) - Fish Paste Market (formation) - Rice Wine (local whisky) - Dried Banana (banana chips) - Rice Paper (spring roll) - Crocodile Farm.


Just freely satisfy your curiosity and our enthusiastic guide will be on hand and explain what you see in more depth.


Cycle back to the bike office around 12:00 and be transferred back to your hotel for lunch and have a short break before caving this afternoon.


Afternoon


Once you recharge your energy, our driver and guide will meet you again and head to the west via Road 57. A golden pagoda on the hilltop will appear before your sight, named Phnom Sampov (Bat Cave), is a natural and historical site.


Optional: There is a motorbike service instead of walking up to the caves (surcharge)


Climb up the three caves one by one to learn about their features and tragic tales, beware of the monkey inhabitants, and let your soul and mind wander in the cool mountain breeze. At the foot of the mountain is what you are awaiting, a flock of bats flying out of the cave.


Evening


After capturing the majestic scene of the bat cave, we drive back to the hotel and the rest of the time is yours.

Day 7: Battambang - Phnom Penh


Morning


Please feast full of breakfast and check out early then we start to Kampong Chhnang where you broaden your knowledge with different aspects of pottery-making and the production of traditional rice wine in a village nearby.


Move to Oudong, along the way, many rural villages, pagodas, and a temple mountain with dozens of stupas from afar in front of your eyes. Upon arriving, have a rest with a traditional Khmer picnic hut lunch at the foot of the hill.


Afternoon


Hike up to the top of Oudong Moutain and capture the glorious plains scenery below. Our guide will tell you about the history, buildings, and religious culture of Cambodian people.


Continue drive to Phnom Penh taking 1 hour arrive to at the capital and your hotel for check-in. Lets freely uncover one of the most beautiful cities in the Orient by yourself.

Day 8: Phnom Penh Cycling - City Tour


Morning


Get enough energy with breakfast and a guide will lead you on your cycling adventure through the countryside around Phnom Penh. Board the ferry to Mekong Island - Koh Dach, and pedal on small roads without traffic to discover the diverse rural landscapes, small villages, schools, and silk-weaving houses all bring you closer to real Cambodia.


Back to Phnom Penh by car for lunch at a local restaurant


Afternoon


Once arriving at the capitol, we take on a city reveal. The first point we get into is the Royal Palace where you can see a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze.


The second spot we drop by is the National Museum in the traditional Khmer style houses the world's foremost collection of ancient Khmer artistic, archaeological, and religious artifacts from the 4th to the 13th centuries and the roof space is home to a large bat colony.


After a productive day, we back to the hotel, and your leisure time for the last night in this capital.

Day 9: Phnom Penh Departure
