Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Bangkok Arrival


Morning

After arriving at Bangkok Airport, our guide will wait for you at Bangkok Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Bangkok.


Check in and have free time at leisure for the rest of the day.


NOTE: The meeting location is on the terminal's second level, at gate number 5 of Exit B side.

Your representative will hold a sign with your name on it. The signs may be hung on the aluminum railing at our meeting location for several pick ups

Day 2: City Temples - Thonburi Canal Tour


Morning

On the second day in Bangkok, a Bangkok city tour is waiting for you to discover after having breakfast:


1st stop: Wat Traimit - which contains a Buddha statue that weighs 5.5 tonnes. A magnificent gold statue from the 13th century stands an impressive 5 meters tall.


At the second stop, there is a chance to explore the winding alleys of the historic district to reach Wat Pho and its enormous Buddha statue. You will be impressed with the Buddha's size, with the Lion Sleep position.


Continue to visit the magnificent Grand Palace, yet another enormous temple compound that is home to some of the most beautiful examples of Thai Buddhist architecture.


Explore the wide grounds and many magnificent structures, including the highly respected Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the priceless Emerald Buddha statue that has been treasured since the 14th century.


Enjoy a delicious lunch after a long trip in the morning.


Afternoon

Most of the time in the afternoon will be spent on a traditional 'long tail' boat, gliding around the tranquil canals and soaking in the slow pace of life.


Take some time to visit the majestic Wat Arun, which rises 79 meters above the Chao Phraya River and is a must-see for any trip to Bangkok's Thonburi district.


NOTE: It is advised that you wear long pants, shoes with a heel that is covered, and shirts that cover the upper arm; however, vests are not recommended.

Day 3: Bangkok Street Food Tour at night


You will have a free morning and afternoon in the city.


Around 19:00, a tour guide will arrive and take you up at the starting location, Sam Yan MRT subway station, to enjoy the Street Food tour at night. The pathway will let you easily locate merchants with flavorful food carts as well as little open restaurants that will entice you with a variety of vibrant, distinctive cuisine.


Your evening Tuk Tuk food journey begins at Sam Yan MRT subway station where we meet. A short ride brings you to the first stop, a Northeastern Thai restaurant. We will share famous dishes from the region like spicy raw papaya salad, deep-fried crispy catfish meat with spicy sauce, spicy pork salad, and spicy pork meatballs. Our next stop is chicken crispy noodles, with a choice of runny or well-cooked eggs.


Then we will take a digestion break by visiting the flower market where you might have small snacks. Then it's off to our secret bar for a beer with an amazing view.


We'll also explore the new foodie paradise of Bantadthong Road, a bustling street brimming with delectable eateries. The tour finishes by or close to Cinderellas time with the Tuk Tuk dropping you off at your hotel.

Day 4: Bangkok - Pattaya - Khao Kheow Open Zoo


Morning

Have breakfast and be ready for a private trip to Pattaya.


About half an hour outside of Pattaya, we'll stop by the Khao Kheow Open Zoo to take in all its attractions. From the animal feeding area to the jungle show, this is where you can see and learn about the finest of what the zoo has to offer.


The zoo's highlights, including the feeding area and the jungle show, will be available for you to enjoy and learn about during our time here. The natural environment of Thailand's rare species, such as tigers and Asian elephants, will be emphasized while you discover how to interact with and care for animals.


Start getting back in the car, and head towards the hotel in Pattaya to relax.


Evening

Let's start a Pattaya Food Tasting Tour at the night market with delicious food, drinks, and snacks.


Around 16:00, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the night market in the Ibanglamung district.


You will have the chance to walk around the street and taste many local fresh dishes, which might include Thai-style food and non-alcohol drinks. At the same time, you can witness the local and ex-pat life living in Pattaya.


We end the food tour at 19:00 and return back to the hotel.

Day 5: Pattaya - Coral Island Tour (Join in)


Morning

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel and transferred on a speedboat to Coral Island at around 09:00 - 09:30, where you may spend the rest of the day soaking in the sun and feeling the breeze.


Koh Larn, also known as Coral Island, is a picturesque island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its white sand beaches, crystal clear seas, gorgeous sceneries, and stunning coral reef.


Upon arrival, we spend the day at one of the island's six main beaches, where we may engage in water sports activities like snorkeling and kayaking (for an extra fee).


Have lunch at one of the chosen places and have a good time. There are several options for satisfying your seafood or Thai cuisine cravings on the beach.


Afternoon

Spend the day enjoying the sun and waves, and then head back to the hotel by private transfer.


NOTE: As this is a join-in tour, the boat may sometimes have a brief stop along the way to Koh Larn for other join-in guests with a different program. This would not take longer than 15 minutes.

Water sports activities are not included in the tour.

Day 6: Pattya - Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Mai


Morning

Have breakfast at your hotel and get ready until the tour guide and private driver pick you up at the hotel.


Transfer you to Bangkok airport to take the flight to Chiang Mai.


Afternoon

Upon arrival, a smiley tour guide and driver welcome you at the airport and then take you to the hotel in Chiang Mai to check in.


You will have free time for the rest of the day to unwind.

Day 7: Local Experience and Sai Oua Making - Doi Suthep Temple


Morning

After an early morning meal, we'll explore the streets of Chiang Mai's historic Old City in a samlor, a pedal-powered rickshaw from the early 20th century.


Start the tour by visiting a wet market, a terrific site to see individuals going about their day and to gain a sense of the area's culture. Here, we shop for produce, other fresh goods, and locally prepared dishes.


Continue to see Wat Puak Tam, a temple known for its artistic brass decorations; these are an integral aspect of the Lanna culture.


Have a first attempt at Thai cooking with a local culinary expert to learn how to make traditional sai-oua, a spicy sausage unique to the north of Thailand.


Taste your dish at lunch alongside plenty of other dishes.


Afternoon

After lunch, make the way up the adventurous and twisting route to experience the pleasantly surprising change in air temperature around Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - a widely regarded temple located approximately halfway up Doi Suthep.


Arrive at the temple and conquer 300 steps or swap two feet for a cable car to walk up to the top to explore the central chedi adorned in golden flakes, renowned for its glittering facade under the mid-day sun.

Day 8: Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School


Morning

A private driver will pick you up at the hotel at around 09:15 - 09:50 to Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School to learn how to cook northern Thailands culinary classics.


To prepare some of Thailand's most well-known dishes, we follow the culinary team's lead in selecting authentic, fresh ingredients.


Following the instructor's direction, prepare sour and spicy soup, pork and basil, fried rice, spicy salad, and green curry, and then enjoy the meal at lunch.


A recipe book with detailed instructions on how to recreate your dishes at home will be given to you at the end of the day.

Day 9: Chiang Mai - Local Handicraft - Departure


Morning

Have breakfast and be prepared for the driver to pick you up at around 08:30 to get to the area at local handicraft markets.


This tour will lead you to the Sankampaeng District, the heart of the handicraft industry in the city.


Spend time exploring the different craft shops and stalls, and even learn how some of Chiang Mais famous products are made, from silk umbrella painting to cotton weaving and lacquerware, an ancient art form.


Choose some handicrafts to bring home, or buy some materials to try out your new craftsmanship skills on your own before your tour wraps up as you are brought back to Chiang Mai Airport.


The tour will end after dropping off your group at the airport.


NOTE: Your international flight should depart after 15:00 regarding time restrictions.
