Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival


Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and driver then transfer to the hotel for check-in (Standard check-in hour is 14:00, early check-in is subject to availability and a surcharge will apply).


Evening


You will be transferred for a welcome dinner with Apsara Dance Show. After that, we will transfer you back to the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom - Ta Prohm


Morning


This morning, you will have a visit to Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site since 1992. This is a great moment for you to take delight in viewing the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which helps you to understand stories from Hindu mythology.


Side by side with our experienced guide, we continue to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom to explore the last and the longest capital of the Khmer. This antique capital was built in the Bayon style, including many remarkable temples, royal palaces and protective moats. You will get to note some massive depicting the churning of the ocean of milk in the South gate, which is built in a noble and elegant style.


We will see the Bayon Temple, which is distinctive for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, as well as the Angkor Kings' palace complex located in the Royal Enclosure.


Keep up with the fascinating journey, we will marvel at the striking three-tiered pyramid of laterite and sandstone construction of Phimeanakas. Following that, we'll spend some time roaming around the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King to see some amazing bas-relief artwork.

Afternoon


We will visit the Ta Prohm temple which was built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII in his dedication to his mother. This antique 'tree-in-temple' attraction was used to be the filming location of the world famous movie 'Tomb Raider' starring Angelina Jolie. The temple is promising to bring out some of the most mind blowing experiences for tourists.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Ta Brak Village - Kampong Phluk


Morning


Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. You will be picked up from the hotel by the local guide and driven to TaBrak Village which is 25 minutes out of town. On arrival, we will meet and share our breakfast with a local family. This is a wonderful experience for you to learn about local village life in the early morning when it is at its most active.


From here, our experienced guide will take you on a 30-minute ox cart ride through the village to a local market. Blended in this bustling center as you take a short walk and be introduced to Cambodian herbs, fruits, and other local produce.


We will continue to stroll for another 1 km through the picturesque countryside village which is the ideal place for you to take lovely photos, then meet the local community along the way and observe some seasonal activities happening at that time, such as rice planting, weaving thatch roofs, planting or harvesting vegetable crops, making fish traps, etc.


We will end our active morning at the local pagoda where a special water blessing by Buddhist monks awaits.


Proceed on to Kampong Phluk, a wonderful stilt village which is the best place for us to see the authentic life of the local fisherman and their families who live amongst the flooded mangrove forest. On the way, you will get a good feel for tranquil life on the water while laying eyes on stilt houses, passing by floating houses and flooded mangrove forests.


Lunch break at a local restaurant, then we will transfer back to the hotel to relax.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Flight To Sihanoukville - Koh Rong - No Guide


Morning


After breakfast, we will be free to explore the area until our driver arrives to take us to Siem Reap airport for a short flight to Sihanoukville. When you arrive in Sihanoukville, our driver will transport you to a speed boat to Koh Rong island which takes about 45 minutes.


When you arrive on the island, you will be greeted and checked in at the resort. The rest of your time will be spent unwinding at the stunning beach, feeling the gentle warmth of sunlight or staying in the resort.

Day 5: Free Day At Koh Rong - No Guide

Day 6: Koh Rong - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh - No Guide


Morning


Breakfast at the hotel. We'll have a short break before boarding the speed boat back to the mainland of Sihanoukville, where your driver will be ready to transport you to Phnom Penh. The trip from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh will take around 3 hours on a fast route (freeway).


Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will transfer directly to the hotel for checc-in and call it a day. Overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 7: Phnom Penh City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, our amazing travel guide and driver will meet you at 08:30 for our full plate tour, which including:


The Royal Palace Compound is a complex of Royal Family structures that was created more than a century ago to serve the king, the king's family, and foreign guests of Cambodia's accommodation and activities. This is a must-see tourist spot for everyone planning a trip to Cambodia.


Located on the South side of the architectural Royal Palace complex, we will embark on one of the most beautiful and popular pagodas in Cambodia - the Silver Pagoda, also known as Wat Preah Keo Morakat. We will have the chance to feast our eyes on the precious and notable 60 centimeters height baccarat crystal Buddha.


Later on, you will wallow in the elegant yet unique blend of French and Cambodian architecture when visiting the National Museum. Its distinctive red building with a massive collection of more than 500 art objects is ensured to give you a one-of-a-kind experience.

Afternoon


To kick off the rest of the day, we will take a 30-minute drive outskirts of the city to visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. This most secret organ was once used as the Khmer Rouge's primary incarceration and torture facility.


We head to our next stop - the Choeung Ek Museum, where between 1975 and 1978 more than 17,000 people were detained and brutally executed. The trip will bring you a closer view of Cambodia's awful past.


After tours, we will transfer back together to the hotel for relaxation. Meals are at your own expense and arrangement.
