Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival Tuk Tuk ride to Ta Prohm


Welcome to Siem Reap International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by tour guide and driver then transferring to hotel for check in.


After taking a short rest, you will start your fascinating Tuk Tuk tour (a three-wheeled motorized vehicle used as a taxi) to Ta Prohm. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow through the towers and corridors offering a jungle atmosphere and some of the best tree-in- temple photo opportunities at Angkor.


Dinner will be served at local restaurant then return to hotel to relax.

Day 2: Siem Reap - Full day cycling temple tour


After breakfast, we will explore the ancient temples of Angkor by bike after going to the bike shop to pick up a helmet and mountain bike and be briefed about the days tour. From there cycle to Angkor Thom, first stopping at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the mythical tale of the Churning of the Ocean of Milk.


We then explore the Bayon, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.


Before lunch, we will cycle through the jungle to visit 4 Prasats Chrong (4 Corner Temples). We will stop for picnic lunch at one of the temples.


Following break, we continue visiting Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang. The last stop is Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site since 1992. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.


Return to hotel for short break, then in the evening transfer to Angkor Village Theater for dinner with an Apsara Dance Show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Full day Jeep tour to Kulen mountain - Sunset Quadbike


In the morning, tour guide and driver will pick you up, with our jeep, from your accommodation and inform you about the program of today. About 48 kilometers away from Siem Reap rests the Phnom Koulen National Park.


The adventures feeling of going by jeep gives a different view on the authentic Cambodian countryside life style. Phnom Koulen is one of the most scenic and historically significant locations in the area. Phnom Koulen is considered a sacred mountain in Cambodia, of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. Most of our guests consider the reclining Buddha as the highlight of this tour. Then there is an area of Hindu lingas on the riverbed; though nothing as extensive as Kbal Spean. Above one of the most spectacular 2 waterfalls in Cambodia, there are a number of temple sites with carved animal figures. At the base of the falls is a large pool where we can go for a refreshing swim. We will then head back by taking the outback dirt paths and might even witness dense jungles.


In the evening, you will experience Quad Adventure riding through the villages, rice paddies and the countryside immediately surrounding Siem Reap. You will have a chance to watch the setting sun as it dips below the rice fields. After tour drop off at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Floating Village


After breakfast, we will drive to the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10km south of Siem Reap. Here, we take a trip in a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to see the floating villages with floating school, church, hospital...


We continue visiting Artisans DAngkor, home to the handicraft center, then a quick stop at Wat Thmey, a Killing Field which contains a glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. We end the tour today by visiting the Old Market, a lively outdoor market selling antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs.


We will have dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Sambo Prey Kuk - Overnight at Kampong Thom


After breakfast, we drive to the archeological site of Sambor Prei Kuk in Kampong Thom province, which is dotted with hundreds of pre- Angkorian style temples. Beside temples, the spectacular scenery surrounding this ancient ruin, with a mixture of temples and forest, makes it worthwhile to visit. Lunch at local restaurant by temple.



After lunch, we leave Sambor Prei Kuk to Kampong Thom Town, then transfer you to hotel for some rest.


Evening, we explore then nightlife of Kampong Thom City by Stung Sen River. Then will try out some local street food along riverside. Your dinner will included 1 cold drink of local beers or beverage.



After dinner, transfer you to your hotel/resort with traditional Khmer house.

Day 6: Kampong Thom - Phnom Penh


Enjoy your breakfast at resort before heading to Phnom Penh. Driving distance is about 3 hours. On the way, we will stop at Skuon, known as the Spider Market.



We will reach Phnom Penh around lunch time so we can just go direct to local restaurant for lunch before heading to hotel for check in.



After checking in take some short rest at hotel to refresh your energy then start your half day tour in Phnom Penh with the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. We continue to Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active Wat (Pagoda) which marks the legendary founding place of Phnom Penh.


Tonight, find your way to have dinner at your own arrangement and the food that you love. Check with our tour guide for some recommendation.

Day 7: Phnom Penh Cycling the Mekong Trails + Killing Field by Tuk Tuk


Cycle along the Mekong trail and witness the unique culture, beautiful scenery and vibrant local life that can be found on the various islands along its course. From traditional villages to farmland, there is something for everyone to enjoy when exploring this incredible trail.



At 7:30 AM, our guide and Tuk Tuk dirver, will pick you up from hotel lobby, and transfer you to take board the ferry going to Silk Island or Mekong Island. Once you arrive, get ready for an exciting cycling adventure that will take you through the countryside and farming villages of Phnom Penh. Be prepared to experience and observe the local culture and way of life as well as enjoy some breathtaking views of the rural landscape!



We will take a visit to the unique craft of silk weaving. Our local villagers will be able to provide you with an authentic insight into the history of silk weaving in Cambodia, a tradition that has been passed down through generations from parent to child. This is an incredible opportunity to learn more about the culture of this country and experience its rich heritage firsthand. (Lunch at own expense)



You can expect to get back to Phnom Penh city around 12:30 pm, then drop your off at hotel for some shower and short rest.



In the afternoon, we take Tuk Tuk Ride to visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces, and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Then continue to the notorious Killing Fields "Choeung Ek", 15km southwest of Phnom Penh.


This is the site of the brutal execution of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom were incarcerated in Tuol Sleng Prison during the Pol Pot regime (19751979).

Day 8: Phnom Penh departure


Have breakfast at hotel. Free time until driver picks up you at lobby then take you to airport for your next flight.
