Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Bangkok Arrival


Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city center for checking in. The remainder of the day is free time at leisure.

Hotel check-in time is at 14:00. If you want an early check-in, an additional charge will be applied.

Day 2: Bangkok - Wat Traimit - Wat Pho - Grand Palace - Emerald Buddha - Marble Temple


Morning

After breakfast at hotel, you will be taken to Bangkoks finest temples with an interesting tour around the citys canals.


Visit Wat Traimit, a temple that houses the world's largest solid golden Buddha statue weighing a massive five and a half tonnes.


Head over to Wat Pho, located just a short walk away, one of the most extensive temple complexes in Bangkok, and home to a larger reclining Buddha statue.


The next stop on your itinerary is the Grand Palace. The palace complex covers an enormous area of over 200,000 square meters and features some of the most exquisite Thai Buddhist architecture.


Visitors can explore the vast grounds and numerous dazzling buildings, including the highly revered Wat Phra Kaew, home to the prized Emerald Buddha statue dating back to the 14th Century.


Finally, your last stop is Marble Temple, one of Bangkok's most beautiful temples, built in 1899 by King Rama V, and includes a magnificent ordination hall that impresses you.


NOTE: You should dress respectively - wear long pants, shoes that cover the heel, and shirts that cover the upper arm (no vests) when going to these religious attractions.

Day 3: Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Rai - Hill Tribe Village


Morning

Have breakfast at your hotel, then check out for a transfer to the airport for a flight to Chiang Rai.


Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, our tour guide will meet you up and then start a long-tail boat trip upstream of the Maekok River for approximately 45 minutes to visit the Karen Hill Tribe Village then return to Chiangrai.


Lunch is served at a local restaurant before finishing the tour. You will be transferred to your hotel in Chiang Rai to check in and relax after that.


NOTE: The river might run dry in the hot season. If so, a land transfer would be provided instead of a longtail boat.

Day 4: Hill Tribe Villages - Golden Triangle


Morning

Your day trip will start after breakfast. Embark on an eight-hour tour leading to small towns and diverse border cities in Thailands northernmost region.


Pass rolling hills, dip into steep valleys, and explore many of the villages and roadside markets along an exciting route from Chiang Rai to Mae Sai.


Along the way, stop at Wat Rong Khun - also known as the White Temple, a dazzling temple complex that stands out as one of the most incredible in the whole country.


Although it is not as old as others in the Thai capital, its bright white facade, mirrored glass decorations, and intricately carved patterns are both distinct and arrestingly beautiful.


Head back on the road toward a charming Akha and Yao Hill Tribe Village for a chance to connect with various ethnic minority groups.


After saying hello to the welcoming locals, continue our trip to Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.


Here you will have time to enjoy the epic scenery along the Mekong River and take a moment to capture the panoramic views with your camera.

Back to your hotel for rest. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 5: Hill Tribe Village - Chiang Dao Cave - Chiang Mai


Morning

After breakfast, you check out your hotel in Chiang Rai, then the tour guide and driver pick you up to start your journey.


Visit Red Lahu Hill Tribe Village, where you will observe the customs of the local villagers and their daily routines, offering you a sight of their traditional houses built on high stilts with wooden planks.


Our next destination is Wat Tha Ton (Tha Ton Temple), a large temple complex in a very attractive setting only a few kilometers from the border neighboring Myanmar.


It is wonderful to visit Wat Tha Ton because the temple is located on top of a hill overlooking the local village of Ban Thaton and the Mae Kok River.


Lunch is served at a local restaurant on the way.


Afternoon

Following the break, we continue our trip to Chiang Mai via Chiang Dao with a short visit to Chiang Dao Cave.


Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you check in at the hotel and have free time for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Half Day Doi Suthep Temple - Khantoke Dinner


Morning

Welcome a new day by heading to Doi Suthep - the mountain that towers over Chiang Mai - to find the highly-revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.


Have an exciting drive up along the long and winding road to enjoy a surprisingly cooling of the surrounding air as you ascend.


Upon arrival at the temple, we start our walk up to the top. You can choose the option to conquer the 300 steps or swap two feet for a cable car instead. At the top, you can explore the central chedi adorned in golden flakes, renowned for its glittering façade under the mid-day sun.


You will be transferred back to the hotel to take a rest.


Evening

Tonights outing is your chance to experience a unique and rather delicious Thai custom, the Khantoke dinner, which is served on large platters on low tables.


Savor a selection of iconic Northern-style dishes, including spicy chili dip with steamed vegetables, crispy pork skin, fried chicken wings, spicy sausage, and the classic Burmese-inspired pork curry.


During your meal, you can enjoy a line-up of live dance and music performances by members of surrounding ethnic hill tribes, including Karen, Hmong, Lahu, Akha, Mien, and Lisu.


To cap off a memorable night, youre invited to join in with the final act called Ramwong, where you can dance, smile and laugh alongside the local performers.


NOTE: The pick-up time of the dinner show is around 18:30. The show duration is from 19:30 to 21:00.

Day 7: Departure


Morning

Today is your final day. You are free to chill out and relax.
