Morning
We will depart from your accommodation for a journey through the Cambodian 'outback.'. Approximately 60 kilometers outside of Siem Reap lies the mysterious 12th-century Beng Melea, which is heavily overrun by trees, vines, and moss.
We traverse red-colored clay paths and lush green shrubs along both sides. This jungle-like surroundings make you enjoy your jeep tour even more as we continue our day trip to the largest stilted village of Cambodia, Kampong Kleang.
During the dry season, we will drive with our jeep between the stilts on which the houses are built, rising up to 10 meters in the air.
In the wet season, the water level reaches its peak and can rise up to 1 or 2 meters above the building floors. On this day you will also offer a boat ride through the village and have the chance to meet the locals.
After this, we drive back to your accommodation on dirt roads and small villages and the last part will be on Highway 6.
