Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival


Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, BestPrice Travel tour guide and driver will transfer to the hotel for check-in after a long flight. Please present at Pole No.10 (Outside of the Terminal Gate), so our guide can easily find you at the busy airport. Drive 45 minutes to the hotel in the city center; the time for check-in is 14:00; if you require early check-in with a surcharge, please contact your travel consultant. When thoroughly checking in your room, relax and prepare total energy for the next day's excursion.

Day 2: Hanoi Half-day City Tour


Morning


Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in clarity Hanoi morning.


8:00: Meet our guide at the lobby and start learning about the must-visit historical spots in Hanoi on a car or motorbike according to your interest


The first place we set on is Temple of Literature, known as the first university in Vietnam. This place not only symbolizes Confucianism in the Ly dynasty but also has been the birthplace of Vietnamese talents for generations.

Move to Ba Binh Square, where the great leader Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of Vietnam's independence and his resting place, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Inside that campus, you can also admire the unique architecture of One Pillar Pagoda, one of the critical works of Buddhism in Vietnam.

Wander along poetic Thanh Nien Road and drop by Tran Quoc Pagoda. Here, take lots of photos as the architecture and beautiful setting of the temple in the middle of West Lake will make you fall in love.


Afternoon


Recharge your power with an authentic Hanoi specialties lunch.


Back to your hotel, and say goodbye to your tour guide. The rest of the time, you can rest or prepare for your Hanoi by night.


Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closes on Monday and Friday and renovates inside from June to August every year. During the renovation, visitors can't join the tour ceremony but still take pictures outside and visit the surrounding area.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Overnight on Cruise


Morning


8:00 - 8:30: A luxury limousine will pick you up at your hotel after fulfilling breakfast at World Heritage Site Halong Bay. You can relax for 2,5 hours on transfer before starting the trip. We will have a stop halfway.


Upon arrival at the cruises waiting lounge in Halong, you will be warmly greeted by cruise staff and do check-in quickly. Transfer to a speedboat to get the cruise, and the cruise manager will give you some exciting bay stories during this time.


Embark cruise at 12:15, and receive a friendly welcome smile from the captain and cruise crew with a welcome drink. Please check in your room, and a delicious lunch is ready at the restaurant.


Enjoy lunch while admiring thousands of limestones and islets on the sparkling green water.


Afternoon


When your energy is in full charge, engage in water activities that bring you closer to the bay's natural beauty. Depending on each cruise itinerary, you will conquer the island's peak, caving and kayaking through islets and caves.

Day 4: Halong Bay Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

6:00: Early birds who want to improve their health can practice Tai Chi Class or just feel the fresh air from your room. Then a light breakfast is prepared enough to recharge to continue the excursion.


Discover more spots to understand the lifestyle in the fishing village or chill out and swim under the water. Back to the cruise and refresh with the last complete brunch. Please process the check out at 10:00 - 10:30 while cruising towards the pier.


Transfer to a speedboat to get to the pier, say goodbye to the captain and cruise crew, and arrive at the port around 11:15.

Our driver will transfer you directly to the Hanoi airport for the Ho Chi Minh City flight.


Landing at Tan Son Nhat airport, our transfer drive to the hotel for check-in and refresh for a long day.

Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels Full-day Sight-seeing Tour


Morning


Please fully charge your energy with breakfast for this busy excursion


8:00: Please gather with our guide and driver at the lobby, and we will start to Cu Chi Tunnels adventure, taking you over a 2-hour drive to the outskirts and giving you the serene scenery surrounding. Upon arrival, we engage in exciting activities to learn more about the historical stories of the Vietnam War that are closely tied to the Cu Chi tunnels.


Gain a brief introduction to these tunnel constructions and their usage in war through a movie.

Go into the jungle and find traps, secret entrances, bunkers, and underground hideouts.

Go down the tunnel, where you will be amazed by the fully furnished underground room network that soldiers created during the war.

Then, lets have a break and try specialty cassava with local green tea.

On the way back to the city center, we dine some regional cuisine for a light lunch.


Afternoon


This afternoon is the time to sightsee the famed landscapes of Ho Chi Minh.


Coming to the Reunification Palace is an important place that provides valuable knowledge about the President of the Republic of Vietnam. You can also capture breathtaking photos in an airy square and French architecture.


Old post office and Notre Dame Cathedral are the next stops to admire the architecture and religious imprints left by the French colonialists.


Once entirely collected impressive photos, we move to War Remnants Museum to see the most authentic artifacts depicting a fierce war in Vietnam.


We will take a walk at Ben Thanh Market, where you might stumble across a beautiful and one-of-a-kind souvenir to take back with you.


After a productive day, the tour will end when you are at the hotel.

Day 6: Full-day Trip to Mekong Delta


Morning


Have breakfast at the hotel, and around 8:00, and our guide will meet you at the lobby for the full-day discovery of the Mekong Delta.


Drive to Ben Tre Province and on board to cruise along Ham Luong River as it flows entirely Ben Tre. On the stream, you will have time to admire mangrove forests and the daily life of locals around here.


After sightseeing on board, we visit a coconut processing workshop. Here, you can learn more about Vietnamese traditional products from coconuts. Then, slake with tasty fruit and tea in a mat-weaving house.


Continue to experience xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) drive into the fruit orchards, and lush agricultural products appear in front of your sights before delighting in lunch.


A specialty meal will be served for lunch at a riverside restaurant.


Afternoon


After lunch, prepare your camera for the next sampan boat trip to discover narrow canals. You will have 10 -15 minutes to sail through the magnificent mangroves.

Day 7: Fly to Siem Reap


Morning

Please check out the hotel before 12:00 and get our transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Siem Reap.


Afternoon


Arriving at Siem Reap airport, meet with our guide and driver to get a glimpse of Khmer culture during the city tour.


Stop at Angkor National Museum, which takes you back from the creation to the highest point of Khmer civilization.

Visit Preah Ang Chek - Preah Ang Chorm Shrine is said to worship two Angkorian princesses in traditional Theravada Buddhist costumes, which locals often come to pray during critical festive periods.

Get to the hotel and check in. Then you have your experience in this ancient city or unwind for tomorrow's temple expedition.

Day 8: Siem Reap Temple Discovery Tour


8:00: Meet our guide after your energy is well-prepared with breakfast and head to the Angkor Temple complex


First, we visit Ta Prohm Temple, only one temple embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers to have attractive photos in your travel album.

Head to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, starting from the South Gate with its giant statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk.

Explore the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Contemplate the World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, the most famous temple on the plain of Angkor, you will learn about the authentic ancient Khmer architecture through five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond.


Conquer the peak of Phnom Bakheng mountain to catch the charming dusk when the sun starts going down.

Day 10: Siem Reap Flight to Bangkok

Finish your breakfast and check out process in the hotel. You will be taken to the airport for a flight to Bangkok, Thailand. Please go to the meeting point on the 2nd floor, inside the arrivals hall. Our guide will hold a sign with your name on it, or in case of multiple pick-ups, the signals may be hanging on the aluminum railing at our meeting point.


We get in the car and go to the hotel to check in and rest.

Day 11: City Temple & Thonburi Canal Tour Bangkok


Morning


Taste Thai and Western foods for breakfast. Today, we will seek out the finest temples in golden temple country.


  • Kick off the journey with a stop at Wat Traimit, home to the world's giant solid gold Buddha.
  • Go through the historic district to another enormous Buddha monument in Wat Pho.
  • The journey continues to the Grand Palace, one of the most impressive examples of Thai Buddhist architecture entire country.
  • Move on to extensive gardens and glittering structures, including Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the prized Emerald Buddha statue from the 14th century.

Flavor delicious lunch at a local restaurant on the way gets to the spot taking a canal boat trip.


Afternoon


Hop on a classic "longtail" boat that meanders through quaint canals and enjoys a quieter life along the riverbank. And a visit to the Bangkok Thonburi side would be complete only with the spectacular and iconic Wat Arun discovering the iconic 79-meter-tall pagoda overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

Day 12: Authaya Discovery

8:00 - 8:30: Leaving Bangkok in a minivan when you finish breakfast, we get back in time to the historical sights of Ayutthaya


  • Firstly call on Bang Pa-In Palace, the remarkable European, Gothic, and Thai-Buddhist combined architecture. You will roam vast grounds and admire various temple structures, watchtowers, and peaceful lakes.
  • Back to the minivan and reach Wat Yai Chai Mongkol on the east bank of the Pa Sak River, a temple said to have been founded by King U-Thong as a resting place for monks from Sri Lanka.
  • Coming to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet special temple does not allow monks to enter due to its royal status.
  • Next is Wat Mahathat, a highly-sacred temple famous for its Buddha relics and traditional style, previously used as a model for other temples in the old kingdom. The temple's most striking feature appears to be the head of a sandstone sculpture of Buddha interwoven in the roots of the bodhi tree.
