Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Bangkok Arrival


Landing at Bangkok Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and driver at Gate No.4 and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The time for check-in is 14:00, and the earlier time required will have a surcharge; please book with your travel consultant.


Bangkok in Night is well-known for its colorful and vibrant atmosphere. You can have a good rest for the next day, or lets set on to explore the following options.

Day 2: Grand Royal Palace - City Temple - Thonburi Canal Tour


Morning

Our guide will meet you again this morning to take you sightseeing in the most iconic Bangkok spots after breakfast.


Drop in Grand Royal Palace is the resort of the Thai royal family, with many historical monuments built over centuries. Nowadays, some sacred temples and official buildings inside still used today. You can also admire the majestic Wat Phra Kaew, placed the statue of the Emerald Buddha.


Visit Wat Pho, the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Bangkok, where you come inside the house of the Reclining Buddha. See the giant Buddha on his deathbed and take photos with this symbol.


Wander along Chinatown, which promises to give you various specialties from countries in the region with the freshest ingredients of the day for your lunch.


Afternoon

When satisfied with Thailand dishes for lunch, we continue to get to Wat Traimit, known as Golden Buddha, the symbol of Buddhist architectural arts, and listen to the mysterious Budha "reborn" story.


At the end of the second day, we float along the Chao Phraya River on a long-tail boat that sails into many inner canals of Thonburi Bank, opening lively local life nearby scenery before your eyes. You can buy snacks and trinkets at the stops along the drift path. And the last check-in point of the day is the Temple of Dawn - Wat Arun. Remember your camera for the best temple photos in the sunset down the river.


Disembark and go back to the hotel to rest after a long day.

Day 3: Bangkok Mae Klong Railway market Damnoen Saduak floating market Kanchanaburi

Refresh your energy with breakfast at the hotel and process check out.


Our driver takes you just a short drive from the bustling streets of Bangkok; the high-rise urban landscape dissolves into a lush green rural idyll. This full-day trip to Samut Songkhram Province, only an hour outside the capital, allows guests to experience the traditional charms of the Thai countryside.


Start with a trip to the Mae Klong Railway market; a country market has sprouted up along the tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the vendors quickly clear their stalls, only to set them up again moments later when the train has passed!


The journey continues to the famous touristic Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Although quite touristy today, the market remains the best example to showcase what a floating market originally was like decades ago.


Sailing a paddle boat ride through the labyrinth of canals offers the chance to see the old part of the floating market and the local lifestyle along the canal side. We get off the board and lost in a colorful floating marketplace with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights.


Afternoon

Move to Kanchanaburi, where we can visit the World War II memorial, including the Jeath War Museum and Cemetery. From here, we will take a train ride along the railway from Wang Pho to enjoy the beautiful scenery and river for around 30 minutes. Ending an exciting trip and going to the hotel on our transfer. Please refresh full power for the next day waiting for you.

If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, the tour offers the option of an exploration, choosing between visiting Damnoen Saduak or the smaller and less touristy floating market Tha Kha, where a short paddle boat tour in the backwaters offers a visit to an old Thai ho Duse making coconut palm sugar.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi Erawan Park Ayutthaya


Morning

Please prepare total energy with breakfast before checking out and departing for Erawan Waterfall to trek on picturesque falls and immerse in the crystal water of the seven-tiered waterfall. Please bring good shoes and a swimsuit to have an entire experience.


Afternoon

Continue heading to Ayutthaya - the ancient city is known as the 'Venice of the East because it is found along the Chao Phraya, the tributaries surrounding the province of Ayutthaya River. On the excursion, you may luckily find many remains of the period around the city since 1350 by King Uthong when the Thai had to migrate to the South under pressure from their neighbors to the North.


Upon arrival at this antique city, we get to the hotel for check-in and free discovery.

Day 5: Ayutthaya Full Day Bangkok Flight to Chiang Rai


Morning

Finish Thai cuisine for breakfast, and this morning, we will catch the Kermit Tuk Tuk for an expedition to the temple highlights of the city.


Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat (with a Buddha face emerging from a tree) inside Ayutthaya History Park and strolling through a local market en route to Wat Phra Srisanphet.


Next, we will visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic building collection that blends European, Khmer, Thai, and Chinese architectural styles. Its the favorite summer palace of the King.


Afternoon

Transfer back to Bangkok for the flight to Chiang Rai. Please have a good renew at the peaceful suburban at the hotel after a busy day and flight.

Day 6: Chiang Rai City Full Day


Morning

Wake up early for breakfast, wander the local market, find local products and souvenirs, and start driving around the city to contemplate the impressive architecture of Budha temple.


Come to the world-famous Wat Phra Kaew, where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined, and Wat Phra Singh, one of Thailands most beautiful Buddha images, is now enshrined.


Then, drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs.


Afternoon

Take a boat trip along the Mae Kok River from Chiang Rai to Karen village, where you can watch or feed elephants and experience 1-hour elephant trekking.


Say goodbye to lovely elephants, and we return to the hotel to bask.

Day 7: Chiang Rai Mae Salong Golden Triangle Chiang Saen


Morning

Leave Chiang Rai after breakfast, and we drive head northern Thailand leading to Mae Salong. On the road, you can see many green hills covered with tea plantations and taste the tea products.


From the Doi Mae Salong, you will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo, to understand the unique ethnic local life in North Thailand. Then, drop into the Mae Fah Luang Botanical Garden.


Afternoon

On arrival at Golden Triangle, embark on a boat on the Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos triangles and return to the car to check in at the hotel in Chiang Saen.

Day 8: Chiang Saen Chiang Mai


Morning

Leave the hidden Chiang Saen after breakfast. Our guide will be standing by you to Thaton and stop by the village of Patai to meet the tribe of Padong Karen, famous for its women, "giraffes" who wear copper rings around their necks to lengthen them. You will then discover a traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy where an expert will explain the use of herbs, roots, plants, and ointments.


Afternoon

We arrive at Chiang Mai, the capital and rose of Nothern Thailand, and walk in the maze of underground galleries in Chiang Dao before resting at the hotel.

Day 9: Chiang Mai City & Doi Suthep


Morning

After fishing breakfast, we have a full morning walk through the old town and the moat to see the marvelous temples of Chiang Mai and check in the most attractive photos of Budha architecture in Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Pan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple.


Afterward, you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses and take a rickshaw tour.


Afternoon

Through the central market of Warorot, you will get to the Doi Suthep hill and capture an overview of an ancient city in your eyes.


Back to the hotel, and you might brighten your evening with Night Market by yourself this night.

Day 10: Chiang Mai Elephant Poopoo paper & Mae Ping river cruise Night train to Bangkok


Morning


Have breakfast, and now is your time to learn about paper-making products at Elephant Poopoo paper farm, an eco-friendly, naturally built outdoor museum park. And you can practice creating a poopoo paper on your own!


Afternoon


Release yourself for two hours on a boat trip along the Mae Ping River, where many beautiful traditional teak houses and a lot of rural greenery along the way.


You can also save the last sunset at Chiang Mai before we return to vibrant Bangkok on an overnight train in the second-class cabin (without guide).

Day 11: Bangkok Flight to Trat Koh Chang Island


Morning

Get in Bangkok around 7:00 - 8:00, and we are directly transferred to the airport for the flight to Trat. Upon arrival, we take a ferry at the pier leading us to Koh Chang Island, then check in at the resort.


Freely unwind in your leisure time to feel the picturesque beauty of this island with steep, jungle-covered peaks.

Day 12 - 13 : Koh Chang Island Free Day

Day 14: Koh Chang Trat Flight to Bangkok - Departure


Enjoy the last moments on a pristine island with breakfast, and our driver transfers to take the ferry and get to Trat Airport to take the Bangkok flight.
