Afternoon

This afternoon, spend time in Angkor Wat, the most well-known of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The 81-hectare temple complex is equivalent in scale to Beijing's Imperial Palace. Then, we will examine the wall murals in one of the pagodas constructed on the site of an old temple. In order to have a better understanding of rural life, we can also make a stop to see a residence there.

We take a boat into the vast lake's open water to see a small floating community and learn more about this amazing natural flood barrier.
