Day 2: Bangkok Temples Discovery


Morning

Have breakfast and prepare since your private tour guide will pick you up for today's city tour. You will get to visit Bangkok's most impressive temples and take a boat ride through the city's picturesque canals.


We begin our journey at Wat Traimit, famous for the largest solid gold Buddha in the world, then stroll across the city's ancient sidewalks to visit Wat Pho and its Buddha monument.


Our next stop is the magnificent Grand Palace, yet another massive temple compound, this one featuring some of the most impressive examples of Thai Buddhist architecture in the country.


We keep on exploring the large grounds and numerous brilliant structures, Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the priceless Emerald Buddha statue from the 14th century.


You will visit Wat Benchamabopit, the stunning temple, also known as the Marble Temple, is a prime example of Bangkok's extravagant style, with its towering gables, stepped-out roofs, and exquisite finials, and is widely considered to be among the city's most magnificent religious buildings.


NOTE: Visitors should dress appropriately with long pants, shoes with a heel cover, and shirts that cover the upper arm (no vests) to show respect to the Thai people.

Day 3: Free Day In Bangkok (No guide)


Morning

After enjoying a full breakfast at your hotel, its your free time to explore this vibrant city at your own pace.

Your adventure begins with a peaceful boat ride along the Bangkrua Canal to reach the famous Jim Thompson House & Museum. Jim Thompson, also known as the Legendary American of Thailand, built a unique home blending Thai and Western styles in central Bangkok.


Today, his house is a museum showcasing his artwork. Despite his mysterious disappearance in 1967, visitors can still admire his creations and experience Thai culture at the museum.


After your visit, return to your hotel in Bangkok.

Day 4: Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak - Kanchanaburi


Morning

Wake up early for breakfast at the hotel before starting a full-day tour to explore the fascinating western provinces of Thailand:


Our tour guide and driver come to transfer you to Ratchaburi province to explore the floating market, Damnoen Saduak. You will get on a traditional long-tail boat gliding through the winding network of canals, past stilted wooden houses.


Continue our journey to the next destination in the North - Kanchanaburi, home of the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai.


We will take a trip back to history to visit the iconic structure of the nearby war museum and learn about the horrors that unfolded during the bridges construction in the Second World War before boarding the train at Nam Tok Station.


Ride along the infamous Death Railway, past jungles and steep cliffs, then return to Kanchanaburi.


Our last destination is the War Cemetery - the gravestones of 6,982 allied prisoners of the war, most of whom lost their lives in the construction of the bridge, and also the JEATH War Museum, which has a collection of paintings, photographs, and explosive remnants of various places during the war.


At the end of the day tour, your private driver will take you to the hotel in Kanchanaburi.

Day 5: Kanchanaburi - Erawan Waterfall - Ayutthaya


Morning

After breakfast, you will be picked up by the tour guide and private driver, then transferred to Erawan National Park, which boasts lush forests, limestone hills, and diverse wildlife.


Spend the morning climbing the seven-tiered waterfall and cooling off in its crystal-clear pools. After a morning of trekking, you will have a hearty lunch before returning to the hotel in the early afternoon.


Afternoon

We will transfer to Ayutthaya. Then you can spend your free time at leisure at your hotel.

Day 6: Ayutthaya - Sukhothai Transfer


Morning

On this day, you will be transferred to Sukhothai, and it takes around 6 hours to reach the destination with a private car from Kanchanaburi.

Upon arrival, you will start to check in at the hotel and have free time at leisure.


Stay overnight in Sukhothai and have a good night after a long day.

Day 7: Sukhothai - Sukhothai Historical Park - Sangkhalok Museum


Morning

After breakfast, we set off to see the mystical and spiritual heart of the kingdom at Sukhothai Historical Park, home to the ruins of royal palaces and Buddhist temples, as well as the city's gates, canals, and water dykes control system.


They all have been maintained and restored by the beautiful Fine Arts Department with the support of UNESCO, with an eye toward developing Thai national identity as well as the protection of a beautiful example of humankind's cultural heritage.


Inside the City Walls:


We first visit the Royal Palace and Wat Mahathat, this area is surrounded by a moat and contains two main compounds; the royal building and the sanctuary in the palace. In the royal compound exists the ruins of the royal building called Noen Phrasal.


A sanctuary lying to the west behind the Royal Palace compound is Wat Mahathat. It is Sukhothai's largest temple, with a customary main Chedi in a lotus-bud shape and a ruined vihara.


After that, we continue to visit other temples, including Wat Si-Sawai, Wat Traphang-Ngoen, Wat Chana-Songkhram, Wat Mai, and The Ramkhamhaeng National Museum.


Outside the City Walls:


The first place is Wat Phra-Phai-Luang, this sanctuary, formerly a Khmer-Hindu shrine but later converted into a Buddhist monastery, is surrounded by a moat. It is second in importance to Wat Mahathat.


We will then visit other temples, including Wat Si-Chum, Wat Chang-Rop, etc.


Following the break, we move to the next destination, which is Sangkhalok Museum. This private museum collects the most comprehensive collection of Sangkalok porcelains, a type of porcelain produced during the Sukhothai Kingdom.


You will wander through ancient porcelains and clay potteries in various styles and periods of production time.

Day 8: Sukhothai - Road Transfer To Chiang Mai


Morning

Day 9: Half-day Doi Suthep Temple - Khantoke Dinner (Join Dinner)


Morning

Have a full breakfast at the hotel.


Then we will head to Doi Suthep - the mountain that towers over the city of Chiang Mai - to find the highly-revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Drive up along the long and winding road and enjoy a surprisingly cooling of the surrounding air as you ascend.


Upon arrival at the temple, we start our walk up to the top to explore the central chedi adorned in golden flakes, renowned for its glittering facade under the mid-day sun.


You can choose the option to conquer the 300 steps on your own or swap two feet for a cable car instead.


Transfer back to the hotel and relax.


Evening

18:30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a special Khantoke Dinner.


This an opportunity for you to enjoy the taste of what makes northern Thai food distinctive and famous among Thailands iconic cuisine, and experience a unique and rather delicious Thai custom, the Khantoke dinner, which is served in large platters on low tables.


Day 9 Enjoy The Khantoke Dinner In Chiang Mai


At the same time, a selection of iconic Northern-style dishes, including spicy chili dip with steamed vegetables, crispy pork skin, fried chicken wings, spicy sausage, and the classic Burmese-inspired pork curry will be available for you to enjoy.


During your meal, you can enjoy a line-up of live dance and music performances by members of surrounding ethnic hill tribes, including Karen, Hmong, Lahu, Akha, Mien, and Lisu.


To cap off a memorable night, youre invited to join in with the final act called Ramwong, where you can dance alongside the local performers.

Day 10: Mae Taeng Elephant Camp


Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, your private driver and guide will pick you up and depart to visit the Mae Taeng Elephant Camp, which is located in the beautiful Maetaman Valley about 50 kilometers north of Chiangmai with a total of 60 elephants owned by mahouts who are experienced professionals training the animals.


The Camp provides visitors with elephant riding, rafting, cart riding, and shows of many trained elephants starting from 09:30 until late afternoon.


NOTE: The specific activities at camp are based on joint activities.


You will have a chance to enjoy an elephant ride through the lush green forest with the beautiful scenery of Mae Tang River, or riding in an ox cart pulled by lampoon white oxen through the rural countryside.


After experiencing the activities in the morning, a delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant.


Afternoon

We start to end our day trip by visiting the camp - an adventurous bamboo rafting for 1 hour along the Mae Teang River.

Day 11: Chiang Mai - Lisu Lodge Experience

After breakfast, you will have free time for leisure until check-out time, then be transferred to Lisu Lodge at around 14:00.


Upon arrival at Lisu Lodge, you are welcomed by Lisu's friendly staff and followed by a village walk. Afterward, you can spend your time relaxing until evening.

Day 12: Lisu Lodge - Chiang Rai - White Temple

Day 13: Hill Tribe Villages - Mae Sai - Golden Triangle


Morning

We will start our day trip after having breakfast at the hotel.


Embark on an eight-hour tour leading to small towns and diverse border cities in Thailands northernmost region, passing the rolling hills, dipping into steep valleys, and exploring many of the villages and roadside markets along an exciting route from Chiang Rai to Mae Sai.


Head on the road toward a charming Akha and Yao Hill Tribe village. After saying hello to the welcoming locals, we continue our trip towards Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.


Here we will have a chance to enjoy the epic scenery along the Mekong River and you can take a moment to capture the panoramic views with your camera.


Before heading back, our last stop is a famous market at the border town of Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand and an important trading city on the border of Thailand and Myanmar (Burma).


You will have a chance to spend some time exploring the local market, which provides a glorious insight into the trading heritage of Mae Sai.


You can also pick up some great, cheap jewels imported from Myanmar (Burma), a Chinese item or two, or some delicious local food to enjoy on your ride back to Chiang Rai.

Day 14: Baan Dam - Hill Tribe Museum Pda - Wat Phra Kaew - Fly To Bangkok


Morning

In today's tour, you will visit Baan Dam (Black House), designed by Thai National Artist Mr. Thawan Duchaneethis. This is an impressive park area with plenty of fantastic wood buildings and a black main hall. Witness its beautiful woodcarvings, skins, and horn installations.


Pay a visit to Hill Tribe Museum PDA to learn about their ethnic and various kinds of hill tribes: Lisu, Lahu, Akha, Yao, Hmong & Karen.


Before flying to Bangkok, you will have a chance to explore the traditional Buddhist art at Wat Phra Kaew, one of the oldest Temples in the city, once home to the Emerald Buddha.
