Day by Day itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival


Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. Transfer directly to your hotel in Hanoi, and have a good rest after the long flight to prepare for the exciting journey ahead.


You can explore the pretty Hanoi Capital for the rest of the day. Lets visit famous attractions of this city, such as The Temple of Literature, West Lake, One Pillar Pagoda, and more.

  • Be present at Pole No.10 (Outside the Terminal Gate) and contact us, so we can easily search for you.
  • The check-in time is 14:00. You can check in earlier with a surcharge. Please contact your travel consultant if you want to book the service.

Day 2: Ninh Binh Day trip - Hoa Lu & Tam Coc (SIC)


Morning


Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get picked up for the transfer to Ninh Binh. As you travel, make sure to witness the peaceful sights of the countryside in the area.


Arriving at Halong Bay on land Tam Coc then embark on a pleasant journey on a bamboo boat rowed by locals on the Ngo Dong River for 2 hours.


Lets explore the limestone karst formations within three big caves here, along with numerous temples. Its possible to witness the golden rice carpet along the river banks if you travel during the harvest season.


Get back to the mainland and have a nice lunch in a local restaurant.


Afternoon


Spend some time in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, and learn more about Vietnamese history, which is fascinating and worth knowing.


Light incense at the sacred Temple of King Dinh and King Le may be accessed by crossing the bridge in the temples direction.


Evening


Around 20:00, you will return to your accommodation in Hanois Old Quarter. Have a good rest.

Day 3: Halong Bay Day trip on Cruise - Overnight train to Hue


Morning


Have breakfast, pack your luggage, and prepare for an active day.


8.00 - 8.30: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel to depart for Ha Long.


11.00 - 12.00: Arrive at the harbor. Board the cruise and start the day trip to discover Halong Bay - one of the world's seven wonders.


Have appetizing fresh seafood for lunch. Get ready for beautiful photos of the bay's natural splendors and karst formations.


Afternoon


The first stop is the majestic Sung Sot Cave, one of the most extensive caves in Halong Bay. Admire the inspiring formation of stalagmites and stalactites here.


Sailing to the pretty Titop Island. You can relax on the sandy beach shaped like a crescent moon or climb to the island's top for a panoramic view of the bay with thousands of limestone peaks rising from the blue water.


Get back on board. Relax at your own pace, and enjoy a captivating sunset view while the boat cruises back to the harbor.


17:00: Arrive at the pier and transfer to Hanoi.


Evening


Around 19:20, you will reach Hanoi Train Station for an overnight train to Hue. (travel time: 13 hours)


NOTE:


  • You need to bring all of your luggage. Once you reach the train station, you'll start the trip right away.
  • You will stay in a shared sleeping compartment. Private compartments are on request at a surcharge. Restrooms at either end of the carriages.
  • Our tour guide will not accompany you on the train. The train schedule is subject to change.

Day 4: Hue + Half-day City Tour in the afternoon (SIC)


Morning


Around 8:30, you will arrive at Hue Train Station. Have time to relax and explore the beautiful Hue City until the hotels check-in time.

  • Breakfast is not included. Its recommended to buy food on the train.
  • There will be no early check-in. 14:00 is the check-in time.


Afternoon


Visit Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb, known for their stunning architecture and serene setting.


The tombs complex includes a lake, pavilions, and temples, as well as the emperor's tomb. Here, you can learn about the emperor's life and legacy through the inscriptions on the tomb walls and the artifacts on display.


Around 17:00: Return to Tourist Information Center at 45-47 Le Loi Street. Go back to your hotel.


Evening


Relax at your hotel and be free. Take this time to unwind, and prepare yourself for more exciting adventures.

Day 5: Hue - Hoi An on a Shuttle bus


Morning


Have breakfast and enjoy your remainder time in Hue.


Check out, get on a shuttle bus, then travel to Hoi An.


Along the way, witness the breathtaking beauty of the Hai Van Pass, one of Vietnam's most beautiful coastal passes, where the cloud, the mountain, and the sea meet.


Afternoon & Evening


Arrive at your hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town. Feel free to explore this stunning town in the evening.

You can try a boat trip in the Hoai River, enjoy local food in the Night Market, or unwind with a spa session.

Day 6: Hoi An Half-day City Tour

At 8:00, meet your guide, then embark on a pleasant half-day walking tour that will unveil the beauty of Hoi An Town.


Stroll along the charming old streets, meandering through local ancient houses and uncovering the rich history and culture of the area.

Marvel at the architectural wonders of the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Fujian Assembly Hall, immersing yourself in the captivating stories about these attractions.

Quench your thirst and refresh your senses with a revitalizing traditional herbal drink called "Mot" from one of the delightful street-side shops.

Day 7: Hoi An - Overnight train to Saigon

Have a nice breakfast at your hotel.


You will have the whole morning free to explore Hoi An by yourself. Lets enjoy a cool coffee, stroll in the town and capture some lovely moments on your phone.


Afternoon & Evening


Check out your hotel and travel to the train station around 13:30 to Ho Chi Minh City. (Travel time: 17 hours)


Enjoy your overnight time on the train, part of a fantastic local experience. Witness the varied beauty of Vietnam from Central to South from your cabin window.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (SIC)


Morning


6:30: Arrive at the train station in Saigon. Time to have a warm breakfast to fulfill your energy after a long trip.


Start the tour to explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, an extensive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War as hiding spots, communication and supply routes, and living quarters.


  • Get knowledge of tunnel constructions and previous usage by watching a documentary movie.
  • Go through the tunnel and find out how intricate the 136-mile underground network used by Viet Cong soldiers. Get to know more about how the Vietnamese soldiers lived during the war.
  • Witness the display of living quarters, meeting rooms, weapons rooms, and different types of traps.
  • Try shooting real bullets with a wide selection of guns at the range (with an additional fee)


Have a light lunch. Then, our driver will pick you up and return to Ho Chi Minh City.


Afternoon


13:30: Join the sightseeing tour to visit the most famous architectural and cultural sites in Saigon:


  • Pay a visit to the Reunification Palace, which used to be the home and workplace of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
  • Explore the War Remnants Museum, which exhibits numerous documents, images, and artifacts about the evidence and consequences of the Vietnam War.
  • Pass by Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, the most famous and oldest classical French colonial buildings with Roman and Gothic architecture.


Go shopping and pick up the best souvenirs for your family at home at a local market.


Travel to your hotel to check in and relax.

Evening

Day 9: Classic Mekong Delta Day Trip (SIC)


Morning


Have breakfast at your hotel and be ready for a discovery trip to the charming Mekong Delta.


08:00: Our driver will transfer you from your hotel through the vast rice paddies and small villages to My Tho. (70km ~ 1.5 hours)


Visit the majestic Buddhist Vinh Trang Pagoda - one of the region's most beautiful and famous attractions.


Then, you will participate in an engaging 3-hour cruising & walking trip in the tranquil Mekong Delta:


  • Explore The Mekong River's small canals on a rowing sampan and witness its lush and fresh riverbanks.
  • Visit a beautiful island with many tropical orchards such as rambutan, durian, plum, and more.
  • Join a local workshop, discover how to make coconut candy, and try some for yourself.
  • Get on the "xe loi" (a kind of motorized rickshaw) and travel throughout the village. Take this chance to look at the authentic life of the inhabitants here.
  • Refresh with some local specialty fruits as well as sweet honey tea.


Have lunch at a garden restaurant on the river bank with traditional countryside dishes.

Drive back to Saigon and drop at your hotel. Take a rest. You will have leisure time in the evening.
